Dale Trach (NewLook Inspections) inspected my home in 2010 for the purposes of determining the overall condition of my home. As a result of his inspection I can be proactive with maintenance issues that needed to done immediately and various items that needed to dealt with over a few years i.e. new roof. I found Mr. Trach to be very p...rofessional and competent in every facet of my home including but limited to electrical, plumbing, heating, structural, to name a few. I found his inspection report to be very detailed and informative. One item that needed to be looked at immediately was a sump pump which has not been looked at for over 19 years - since the house was built. Further investigation determined that the sump pump was still working and the catch basins were clean - no further work required.
I would not hesitant in recommending Mr. Trach to any existing home owner or for purposes of purchasing a new home. Money well spent.

I recently purchased a home in Burnaby. The cost was around $600,000. I was sick for a week deciding if the house was worth the price and because it was very old I was concerned about numerous potential problems. A friend had an inspection done by Dale Trach and recommended I do the same. Mr. Trach did an extremely thorough inspection of the house. He allowed me to follow him while he did the inspection. He pointed out items I should be concerned about and solutions to fix the problems. At the end he gave us a report with all of his recommendations. Dale Trach completed two separate building inspections for me in the last two years. With both house inspections I found Dale to be very professional, knowledgeable and accurate and I was provided with a very detailed report concerning each inspection.
I accompanied Dale on one inspection and was very impressed with how thorough he inspected the entire house and provided a detailed report to help me make a purchase decision. Dale also inspected my own residence in 2010 and again submitted an extremely detailed report concerning my property. Due to Dale’s thorough inspection I have renovated our bathroom, added caulking to the exterior and plan on a water heater replacement plus increased attic insulation based on Dale’s recommendations.
